Bedouins have stormed an Egyptian resort in the Sinai Peninsula…Again! This is just one incident in a long string of incidents. The Bedouins demanded 4m Egyptian pounds as they held a few security guards hostage. But this is only a problem for Egypt, right? Wrong! They’ve made it Israel’s problem.

The Guardian reports: “Egyptian officials said it would be difficult to mount any police or military response given the constraints imposed upon Egypt as a result of its peace treaty with Israel, which regulates the amount of security personnel the government can deploy to this sensitive border region.”  Read more...
