Is America Safe Now That The Republicans Are Back In Power?

Does it feel like America is getting back on the right track politically? Will America start to turn around? Will the economy make gains once more putting Americans back to work? Will the Republican victory in the House make a difference? I wouldn’t count on it.
Moshe saw a “far land” where sickness and destruction had taken place (Deuteronomy 29). He saw a “foreigner” – one who did not live in Israel – who was looking toward that land wondering why it had been destroyed? The answer is because they forsook the Covenant they agreed to when Moshe lead the Children of Israel out of Egypt! That land had no name in Moshe’s day because it was not yet a country. Its name today is America.

It may well be that Gov. Brewer has been complicit with Obama to introduce a state-by-state implementation of a national ID program. Lawmakers have been unsuccessful since 2005 in convincing the American people to accept their individual additions into a database that will track their every move.
